Position: Patient Service Specialist
Location: Murray, KY
Type of Employment: Full-time
Schedule: Weekdays - Varies
Starting Pay: $16/hour (pending experience)

Overview

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center, we want them to have an exceptional experience — starting at the front desk. As a patient service specialist, you'll manage both the patient and business sides of our center. Your role can significantly impact each patient's care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, provide information about their visit and next appointment
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
