Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: Bangor, ME

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays - 40 hours/wk

Compensation: Starting at $18/hour (Pending experience)

We are looking for a Patient Service Specialist for a fast-paced multidisciplinary pediatric office.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and their next appointment as they check out
  • Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
  • Maintain regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation companies, as well as market operational leaders and the business development team
  • Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
