NextCare in Kingwood, Texas, is seeking a Medical Front Office Receptionist to join our fast-paced clinic. You will be the first contact for patients and families, handling check-ins, data entry, payments, and appointment coordination.

NextCare Urgent Care is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Medical Front Office Receptionist that likes the challenge of a fast pace setting and working in a team environment. Medical Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients in the clinic and is responsible for keeping patients and families informed of wait times, monitors the flow of patients, processes patients for discharge including preparing charges, collecting payment, obtaining all necessary signatures and issuing receipts in addition to:
The Medical Front Office Receptionist supports the organization with exceptional customer service and treats all of our patients with respect and dignity. They ensure the clinic and front reception area is running smoothly and patient flow and satisfaction are at optimum.
Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. Education is a part of our pre-employment background screening and we will request a copy of your diploma. If we are unable to verify your education, you will be required to provide official transcripts.
Experience : Minimum two years experience in registration or front office in a physician's office, hospital emergency department and/or urgent care setting. Typing and computer proficiency in Windows based software.
Skills : Ability to multi-task, provide quality customer service, prioritize and critical thinking
