Fairfield Dermatology in Fairfield, CT, is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our fast-paced front desk team. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and manage check-in/check-out while delivering outstanding customer service.

This role emphasizes accurate EMR data entry (ModMed/EMA preferred), multitasking in a team environment, and coordination with providers and medical assistants to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office preferred, but not required.
• Dermatology experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems (ModMed/EMA preferred)

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider schedules.
• Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately.
• Answer and manage incoming and outgoing phone calls.
• Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
• Collect copays, outstanding balances, and product purchases.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record.
• Communicate effectively with providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
