Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care in Edgewood, GA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Edgewood clinic team. This full-time role offers three 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and regional float opportunities across Edgewood, Midtown, and Brookhaven locations.

You will provide direct patient care, take vitals, perform basic lab work, assist with exams and minor procedures, and maintain clean, ready treatment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred).
• Licensed as an LPN or EMT.
• Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, exams, and minor procedures.
• Take vital signs and document patient information.
• Perform basic lab tests and wound care as directed.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical equipment.
• Support radiographic imaging where applicable.
• Ensure patient comfort and address questions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers with patient care, exams, and minor procedures.
• Perform vital signs, document patient information, and ensure accurate medical records.
• Conduct lab tests, administer medications, and perform wound care as directed.

• Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging where applicable.

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred) or licensed as an LPN or EMT.
• Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
• Comfort in a fast-paced urgent care setting with varied medical responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting (preferred but not required).
• Modern, well-equipped urgent care centers with a clean and professional setting.
• Hands-on, patient-facing role with a direct impact on patient health and well-being.
• Possible exposure to illnesses and medical situations typical of a healthcare environment.
