Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation in Childress, TX is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. You will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients to and from locations, ensuring aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR and Med-Trans requirements.

The role requires FAA rotorcraft commercial cert, instrument rating, Class II medical, and substantial flight hours including turbine and night time. A 7/7 schedule, housing, and incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher is preferred.
• FAA Rotorcraft Commercial Certificate required.
• Rotorcraft instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours required.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours required.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours required.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours required.
• 100 Hours Night Unaided or 50 Hours Unaided with 100 Hours Aided required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a team of medical experts to and from locations and facilities.
• Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and comply with FAR and Med-Trans requirements and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team per Med-Trans change board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
