Job summary

IPG Medical Corporation, based in Marlborough, MA, seeks a Medical Fiber Manufacturing Technician to operate cleanroom equipment and assemble medical fiber optic products. You will troubleshoot automated stations, perform fiber handling and inspections, and maintain contamination control standards to meet daily production goals.

The role requires a high school diploma (Associate’s preferred) and 2–5 years in manufacturing/cleanroom environments, with proficiency in test equipment and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associates of Science in engineering, optics, manufacturing or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cleanroom manufacturing equipment used to assemble medical fiber optic products.
• Troubleshoot and repair automated line manufacturing stations.
• Follow written manufacturing procedures and complete inspection documentation.
• Maintain clean room standards and contamination control practices.
• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance to ensure equipment readiness.
• Support engineering experiments and collect data for production implementation.
• Assist in IQ, OQ and PQ qualifications and reports.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Operations for training and inventory control.
