Zusammenfassung

Conquest Imaging is seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Technician to repair, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment. The role involves troubleshooting electronics, PCBs, and power supplies, with documentation of test results and repair processes.

Qualified candidates have an associates degree in electronics or equivalent training and at least 3 years of experience in medical imaging equipment repair, with strong computer and soldering skills. CAD/medical workflow knowledge is a plus.

Conquest Imaging is seeking qualified candidates to join a committed team. The role involves helping ultrasound healthcare providers deliver better diagnostic patient care through repairs, maintenance and technical support.

Repairs, calibrates, and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation used in health care delivery. Also conducts a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tests on electronic systems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Repairs, calibrates, and maintains equipment
• Ascertain equipment functions properly and safely
• Reflow high level ICs
• Troubleshoot and repair ultrasound systems
• Troubleshoot and repair PCBs and power supplies
• Process paperwork according to test results; research new repair techniques
• Read test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used
• Calibrates test instruments according to specifications
• Read dials or digital displays indicating electronic characteristics (voltage, frequency, distortion, inductance, capacitance)
• Perform board-level system repairs
• Perform component-level board repairs
• Evaluate PCB, power supply, and system performance
• Perform QA on repaired PCBs, power supplies, and systems
• Specify and source repair parts
• Define and document repair processes
• Document all testing and repair activities
• Assist with ultrasound training as needed
• Perform other related tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical, electronics field or equivalent military training required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of medical imaging equipment
• Complex computer skills including the ability to interpret error codes, defragment hard drives, replace power supplies, and interpret computer codes required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and networking applications required
• Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
• Frequently required to reach, pull, and/or employ fine motor skills during the installation, servicing, and maintenance of medical equipment
• Frequently required to bend, crouch, kneel, climb, balance, or maneuver body while servicing and/or inspecting medical equipment
• Frequently required to operate tools/machinery that use hand and/or foot controls when servicing medical equipment
• Frequently required to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds while working with medical equipment
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentational communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $15.00 Per Hour with competitive wage structure based on experience

Classification: Full Time, Non-exempt
