Responsibilities

  • Maintains equipment and supply inventory.
  • Maintains inventory of special-order items and completes paperwork to ensure items are charged appropriately.
  • Avoids waste and duplication of supplies.
  • Helps coordinators project budgets for repairs, replacement and new purchases.
  • Follows up with HH Biomedical Department on requested safety checks and repair work orders on medical equipment to enhance the Quality Improvement Program.
  • Coordinates preventative maintenance programs for equipment in all areas.
  • Assists other department staff with stocking unit supplies, cleaning supply room and performing clerical tasks.
  • Represents the unit on collaborative CCMC committees with members of Safety, Hazard Materials, MSDS, EOC.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related differences and needs from neonate through adolescence and applies them to practice.
  • Demonstrates culture sensitivity in all interactions with patients/families.
  • Demonstrates support for the mission, values and goals of the organization through CCMC Standards.
  • Provides inventory and maintenance functions for equipment related to CCMC programs.
  • Assists physicians with the set-up of traction equipment.

Job Description
