Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician I in Wixom, MI to perform inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical devices. You will document activities for billing and compliance, and communicate with clinical staff about equipment features and performance.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule with potential travel and lifting up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must have a safe driving record.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours.
• Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
• Ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on medical devices (beds, pumps, monitoring equipment, etc.).
• Complete paperwork and data entry for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff on equipment features and functionality.
