Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician I to maintain medical devices and perform preventive maintenance to ensure patient-ready equipment. You will document all work for billing and regulatory compliance, and communicate with clinical staff about equipment features and operation.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, the ability to travel when needed, and the willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

What You Will Do in This Role

• The Medical Equipment Technician I provides cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly following manufacturer specifications.
• They perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service under the guidance of a qualified Biomedical Equipment Technician or supervisor.
• Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices including medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment, etc.
• Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and required regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.

What You Will Need for This Role

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license.
• Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.
• A willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
• The ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.
• The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.

This range represents the low and high ends of the Agiliti pay range for this position. This base pay range information is based on the market locations shown. For sales positions, this range combines the base salary and the target incentive pay. The actual pay offered may vary depending on several factors including geographic location, experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and related factors. Dependent on the position offered, short-term and or long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation.
