Job summary

HME Specialists in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Full-Time Equipment Processing Technician to clean, disinfect, and maintain medical equipment between customer uses, documenting maintenance on forms. You perform scheduled maintenance per manufacturer specs, follow PPE and infection control policies, ensure proper labeling and storage, and assist with special projects as directed by management.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining medical equipment between customer uses.
• Document maintenance activities using designated forms.
• Perform scheduled maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Follow PPE protocols and infection control procedures per policy CDS-016.
• Ensure equipment is labeled, covered, and stored properly.
• Support mission and values in a collaborative, rotating duties environment.
• Handle technology such as computers/tablets and assist with special projects as directed.
