Summary

Are you an independent go-getter who is mechanically inclined and prioritizes Customer satisfaction and safety? Join our team as a Medical Equipment Installer! You will support hospital operations by installing equipment such as sterilizers, lights/booms, and utility connections, used in settings like operating rooms and sterile processing areas. Installers ensure high Customer satisfaction from installation through post-installation, supporting continuous patient care. This role involves extensive travel, including overnight stays.

What You'll Do As An Installer
  • Coordinate with the Installation Project Manager for scheduling installations based on delivery, customer availability, and construction timelines.
  • Verify that rough-in dimensions and utilities meet equipment specifications before installation. Ensure access routes are sufficient for transport.
  • Perform installation tasks including uncrating, assembling, positioning, leveling, connecting utilities, and testing.
  • Complete service documentation electronically.
  • Ensure Customer satisfaction post-installation by cleaning equipment, removing packing materials, and addressing questions or issues.
Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of mechanical experience in construction or HVAC, or an Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or related field with 1+ year of experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in computers and Windows software.
  • Flexibility to handle changing priorities and work outside normal hours, including extensive travel.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Preferred
  • Experience in plumbing and electrical work.

Pay range: $47,750 - $66,938, with potential bonuses or commissions. Pay is based on experience, education, certifications, and location.
