Job summary

United Medical Systems is seeking a Driver / Support Engineer to play a hands-on role in delivering, setting up, and supporting advanced urological imaging equipment across the region. This full-time, field-based position combines driving, technical setup, and light troubleshooting in medical facilities.

The role requires driving a 16-ft box truck, calibrating equipment in procedure rooms, and ensuring readiness before procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience driving a 16-ft box truck or similar vehicle.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain DOT medical clearance.
• Physically capable of lifting 50–65 lbs and handling equipment.
• Technically inclined with ability to follow setup procedures and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience in electronics, engineering, or equipment setup preferred (but not required).

Responsibilities

• Drive a 16-ft box truck to transport medical imaging equipment to hospitals and surgical centers.
• Set up and calibrate equipment in procedure rooms, usually the day before scheduled cases.
• Ensure systems are operational and ready at least 1 hour before procedures.
• Troubleshoot minor issues on-site and escalate when needed.
• Leave no trace by resetting procedure rooms to original condition after each use.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment to comply with DOT and company standards.
