Job summary

ForTec Medical is seeking a dependable driver to load, transport and unload medical equipment to regional facilities, supporting lithotripsy treatments.

You will drive the company van, meet teammates to exchange gear, and travel overnight or on weekends as needed. A flexible schedule and independent work style are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • DOT certification or training provided.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules including overnights and weekends.
  • Travel including overnight stays may be required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
  • Ability to push/pull/manipulate up to 50 lbs of equipment.
  • Independent work ethic and professional appearance.
  • Must read maps or GPS and use basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

  • Load, transport and unload medical equipment to regional facilities.
  • Exchange equipment with teammates at designated locations across states.
  • Drive company van in a safe, professional manner.

This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, possible overnights and some weekends. There is no set schedule with this position. Days and hours vary based on business needs.Company van provided.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Load, transport and unload medical equipment and supplies to regional medical facilities to support lithotripsy treatments
  • Run meets to exchange equipment with other employees at designated locations; including the surrounding states
  • Drives company van safely and professionally

Key Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • DOT certification (training provided)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule due to last minute schedules and travel time
  • Overnight and weekend travel may berequired
  • Good driving record and valid driver's license
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Must be able to push/pull/manipulate over 50 pounds of medical equipment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to read maps or GPS
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, emails and text messages, smart phone applications
