Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Technician to join our team. The role involves delivery, setup, and maintenance of medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies, as well as instructing patients and caregivers on proper use and maintenance. The position also includes providing customer service over the phone and in person to patients and referral sources.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company policies regarding safety equipment
  • Assist with updating respiratory grid
  • Be available for on-call assignments as needed
  • Complete delivery forms, invoices, work orders, and logs
  • Verify insurance coverage
  • Deliver and set up equipment using a vehicle
  • Maintain knowledge of products and regulations
  • Educate patients/caregivers on equipment use
  • Maintain company vehicle
  • Manage referral logs and paperwork
  • Handle office supplies and patient needs
  • Prepare documentation for billing
  • Provide service for walk-in patients
  • Report hazards or incidents
  • Coordinate deliveries with location staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Travel
  • Travel to patients' homes for setup and deliveries using personal or company vehicle
Qualifications

Employment contingent on background check, drug screen, and valid driver's license with a clean record.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with medical equipment and medical terminology preferred
