Job summary

DME Express is seeking delivery drivers/technicians to transport and pick up medical equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds and oxygen for hospice patients. Training is provided for those with no prior experience.

This 24/7 operation emphasizes safety, professionalism and compassionate patient service. You will follow DOT and FDA regulations, educate patients, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and support warehouse and office tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude at all times.
• Clean driving record and ability to lift up to 75 pounds daily.
• Willing to work a predetermined rotating on-call schedule; 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Determine or obtain best daily route and deliver/educate patients on equipment.
• Deliver and pick up equipment while ensuring regulatory compliance (DOT/FDA).
• Maintain stock levels and vehicle cleanliness; assist in warehouse tasks.
• Provide patient orientation and promote teamwork.
• Complete delivery/pickup in the app promptly and accurately.
