Job summary

DME Express LLC is seeking delivery drivers/technicians to deliver and pick up medical equipment such as Wheelchairs, Hospital Beds and Oxygen to Hospice Patients. DME Express is a medical supply company dedicated to delivering the best service and equipment to the Hospice field.

We are growing and training is provided; no experience required for this position. You will determine the best daily routes, educate patients and families on equipment use, and maintain vehicle and warehouse standards

Qualifications

• Must have positive attitude at all times.
• We are a 24/7 operations, with predetermined rotating on call schedule.
• Accepts other duties and activities as assigned.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Determine or obtain best daily route, assemble and deliver equipment and educate patient and family on use.
• Enforce all DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to Oxygen and DME.
• Ensure stock levels and cleanliness in warehouse and vehicle.
• Provide patient/client orientation on equipment use.
• Work with patients to resolve problems as a field representative.
• Complete delivery and pickup through app promptly and accurately.
• Assist in cleaning, disinfecting and minor repair of equipment.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on assigned vehicle.
• Promote teamwork and assist fellow drivers as needed.
• Market the company professionally at all times.
