Job summary

The University of Georgia School of Medicine in Athens, GA seeks an experienced Clinical Science Educator to teach across all four years of the undergraduate medical curriculum, focusing on clinical skills, population health, and simulation-based learning.

The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty in a hybrid, team-based environment, participate in curriculum leadership opportunities, and contribute to medical education research while maintaining an adjunct appointment with AU/MCG

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree required.
• Board Certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties expected within five years.
• Unrestricted Georgia medical license with hospital privileges or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Teaching across all four years of the undergraduate medical curriculum.
• Lead small-group and large-group sessions in clinical skills and related areas.
• Participate in curriculum leadership and educational research activities.
