Xavier University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Cincinnati seeks a faculty member to design and deliver curricular content and assessments. The role involves advising and mentoring students, contributing to teaching and service, and supporting the college’s mission within a twelve-month, non-tenure track framework.

Qualified applicants hold a terminal degree in a medical education-related field; teaching experience and expertise in histopathology/pathophysiology are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires terminal degree in a discipline related to medical education.
• Evidence of student mentoring and teaching in medical education.
• Expertise in histopathology and/or pathophysiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers curricular content within the College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Involved in the creation of assessments within the curriculum
• Advises and mentors students of XUCOM
• Contributes to teaching and service aligned with the college mission
• Other duties as assigned
