MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Somerset, NJ. This part-time role offers a $17.50/hr wage with a fixed schedule, Monday-Wednesday, 6:30am - 4:00pm, and extensive responsibilities delivering medical materials in company-owned vehicles.

The driver will use handheld scanners, follow routes accurately, and maintain professional client interactions while supporting a culture of safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability in prior roles.
• Comfortable using handheld scanning devices and technology.
• Ability to follow procedures and routes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a company-owned vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related items.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe all safety policies, procedures, and schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load/unload vehicles and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Demonstrate safe driving and adapt to varying routes and client needs.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support operations.
