Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Somerset, NJ, for weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday, 7:00am–3:30pm. The role involves traveling within New Jersey in a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.

Strong customer service, dependability, and an excellent driving record are required. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and a supportive team culture at MedSpeed.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and other materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Adapt routes to client needs and work as part of the MedSpeed team.
