Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Addison, TX. This full-time position offers a $16.00 per hour wage with a Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–7:30 PM schedule.

You will drive a company vehicle, transport lab specimens and supplies, and use a handheld scanner to track items. Requirements include being 19+, holding a valid driver's license for at least 3 years, and the ability to pass drug/alcohol screens.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Operate vehicles with dashcam recording systems and follow safety policies.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required per location.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle varying item weights.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens and materials.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transport cycle.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items safely.
• Demonstrate safe driving and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Adapt routes based on client needs and schedules.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support goals.
