Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Albuquerque, NM. The role is full-time, with a $16.00/hr wage and on-site work in the local and surrounding areas.

You will drive company vehicles to transport medical supplies and specimens, use a handheld scanner to track items, and uphold strict safety and route procedures. Candidates should have a clean driving history and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials in company vehicles.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe driving behavior and conduct vehicle inspections.
