Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Driver in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time role pays $15.00/hr and involves delivering lab specimens, medical records, and supplies in a company-owned vehicle. You will use a handheld scanner, follow schedules, and maintain a professional image with clients.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, safe driving, pre/post-trip checks, and adapting routes as needed. Candidates must be 19+, have 3 years of driving, and pass drug/alcohol screening. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with technology.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Routes may vary and duties may be assigned across multiple routes.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adapt to client needs.
