Emplify Health by Gundersen is hiring a part-time Medical Dosimetrist to support Radiation Oncology at La Crosse and Tomah locations. 0.8 FTE (32 hours weekly) with training for 8–10 weeks and hybrid/remote options.

Starting salary $87,592 based on 0.8 FTE, with potential increases based on experience. The role requires CMD within 1 year, strong communication, and proficiency in 3D/IMRT/VMAT planning using Eclipse and Aria.

Responsabilités

• Design treatment plans per physician prescriptions using computer/manual methods.
• Consult with Radiation Oncologists and Therapists on patient setup, dosimetry, treatment delivery and documentation.
• Assist in calibration, QA, and radiation safety under supervision of Physicists and Oncologists.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and accrediting bodies requirements.

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Radiation Oncology team as a part‑time Medical Dosimetrist supporting Oncology services at our ACR‑accredited La Crosse and Tomah locations. You will work with a treatment team of five other Dosimetrists, four Radiation Oncologists, four Physicists, three APCs, and a strong team of Radiation Therapists. New and upcoming graduates are welcome to apply.

What You’ll Do:

• You will design treatment plans by means of computer and /or manual computation to deliver radiation in accordance with a radiation oncologists prescription.
• You will act as a consultant to the Radiation Oncologists and Radiation Therapists in patient set‑up, dosimetry, treatment delivery and documentation.
• Under the supervision of the Medical Physicists and Radiation Oncologists, you will perform and assist in calibration of equipment, quality assurance and radiation safety.
• You will assure compliance with state, federal and accrediting bodies regulatory requirements.

What’s Available:

• Part‑time, 64 hours biweekly (0.8 FTE). Will train/orientate for approximately 8-10 weeks
• Flexible shifts Monday through Friday, rotating weekend call throughout dosimetry team
• Remote/Hybrid Eligible; most dosimetry staff spend most of their FTE on site, with off‑site flexibility available
• Starting salary of $87,592 (based on a 0.8 FTE) and up, commensurate with your years of experience

• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) within 1 year of hire
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals and staff
• Proficiency in planning 3D, IMRT and VMAT in Eclipse and overall experience in Aria/Eclipse
