Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions is seeking a Medical Dosimetrist to provide on-site services at the Seattle VA Medical Center. The role involves designing treatment plans (SRS/SRT, IMRT, SBRT) and supporting QA and radiation safety under MDCB supervision.

Responsibilities include tumor localization, simulations, plan implementation, and collaboration with the VA Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist. A continuous service orientation is required for this SDVOSB team.

Qualifications

• MDCB certification
• Minimum 2 years of continuous recent experience
• Experience with QA procedures documentation
• ACR/APEX certified healthcare system
• Varian TrueBeam with RapidArc
• IGRT with Cone Beam CT (TG-142 standards)
• 3 years: Eclipse planning system, ARIA system (SRS, SRT, SBRT, IMRT)

Responsibilities

• Perform dosimetry functions under MDCB certification
• Receive direction from VA Radiation Oncologist and/or Medical Physicist
• Design treatment plans (SRS/SRT, HyperArc, IMRT, SBRT, 2D/3D, IGRT)
• Assist with simulations and tumor localization (CT, MRI, PET-CT fusions)
• Oversee fabrication of beam-modifying and immobilization devices
• Implement treatment plans and verify correct use of devices
• Perform and document dosimetric calculations
• Support Medical Physicist in QA, calibration, and radiation protection
