Shift: Medical Dosimetrist – Full-time Position Highlights: Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Medical Dosimetrist. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for radiation and great customer service for our patients we serve. This specific position will work fully remote. We partner with our physicians, nurses and other hospital staff to provide the best Serious Medicine and Extraordinary Care available in the region. Generate radiation dose distributions and calculations in order to provide radiation treatment plans, in accordance with the radiation oncologists' prescription. Assist in simulation, brachytherapy and specialty procedures as directed and participates in the clinical and didactic instruction of students. In addition to performing advanced clinical dosimetry functions, this position provides leadership, mentorship, and oversight of the dosimetry team, facilitates departmental workflow, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives, technology advancements, and staff development.
