Tactical Rehab is seeking a Medical Documentation Specialist to manage prior authorizations, verify documentation and coding, and ensure reimbursement readiness from start to finish. You will coordinate with our offices on scheduling and delivery, and process fulfilled orders in the EMR.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming prior authorizations and verify product eligibility.
• Process and follow up on prior authorizations through approval, denial, or resubmission.
• Confirm patient records contain information required for insurance reimbursement.
• Submit documentation corrections per policies.
• Initiate patient/provider contact and appointment scheduling.
• Verify correct coding to support prompt payment.
