A nationwide healthcare staffing company is seeking a licensed Physician to join the healthcare team at a client’s medical facility in Hookerton, North Carolina. Ideal candidates will have an active Physician license for North Carolina, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience. This full-time position offers competitive pay at $115/hr and a 20-week contract with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience is required.
• An active and unrestricted Physician license for North Carolina is mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and episodic care to incarcerated individuals.

Position Duties

• Provide high‑quality primary and episodic care to incarcerated individuals
• Conduct exams, evaluate patient conditions, and utilize appropriate diagnostic procedures
• Manage acute and chronic conditions in accordance with facility protocols
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Document all services accurately and timely in accordance with state and facility standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in required training and maintain compliance with all facility and state requirements

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution
• Active, unrestricted Physician license for the State of North Carolina
• 1+ year of relevant clinical experience
• BLS required
• Ability to pass all compliance and background screening requirements
