Job summary

Health E Staffing in California is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to join an Occupational Medicine organization in Redding. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and a $20,000 retention bonus, with no nights or weekends and a Monday–Friday schedule.

The role includes direct patient care for workplace injuries, acting as Primary Treating Physician, supervising staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active California medical license (or in progress).
• Active DEA registration.
• Board certification or eligibility preferred.
• BLS, AED, and ACLS certifications required.
• DOT Medical Examiner certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Occupational Medicine experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment of workplace injuries.
• Serve as the Primary Treating Physician (PTP) for occupational injuries.
• Collaborate with specialists, therapists, and clinical staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Supervise and support NPs, PAs, and clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
