Established in 1972, East Bay Nephrology Medical Group offers a wide range of in-office services at multiple convenient locations across northern Alameda County, western Contra Costa County, and southern Solano County. We work closely with major Kidney Transplant Programs at CPMC, UCSF, Stanford, and UC Davis. Our physicians are on staff at all area hospitals to provide hospital-based and emergency care for patients. Additionally, we deliver care for renal dialysis patients at various dialysis centers across Alameda, Contra Costa, and Solano Counties. With 19 board-certified physicians specializing in Nephrology, our practice is renowned for its comprehensive kidney care.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Doctor located in Berkeley, CA. The Medical Doctor will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with kidney-related conditions. Daily tasks include patient consultations, developing treatment plans, managing patient care in both in-office and dialysis settings, as well as coordinating care with transplant programs. The Medical Doctor will also provide emergency care as needed and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Internal Medicine and Nephrology
• Experience in diagnosing and treating kidney-related conditions
• Skills in patient consultation, treatment plan development, and patient care management
• Ability to work on-site in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with emergency care and hospital-based care
• Familiarity with dialysis procedures and coordination with transplant programs
• Flexibility to work at various office locations and dialysis centers as needed
