Qualifications

St. Francis Animal Hospital in Augusta, Georgia is looking for an experienced Medical Director Veterinarian to lead our medical team and help shape the next chapter of the practice. As Medical Director, you'll set the clinical tone for a well-established hospital with a loyal client base and a reputation for compassionate, personalized care in the CSRA.

What We're Looking For

• DVM degree and active (or eligible) Georgia veterinary license
• Several years of clinical small animal experience (5+ preferred); this role is not suited to new graduates
• Proven leadership ability or a strong desire to lead, mentor, and develop a team
• Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills
• Interest in equity and partnership, and in helping a hospital grow

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent) from an accredited university, and an active veterinary state license
• 3+ Years of Veterinarian Experience
• Current DEA License/USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
• Compassionate leader with the experience and willingness to manage a team and promote a positive clinic culture as it aligns with Alliance Animal Health’s core values
• Effective communicator with a drive to provide the highest quality medicine and mentor other veterinarians to do so as well
