Job summary

Sterling Physician Recruiters seeks a Medical Director for Urgent Care & Occ Med in NW Ohio. Lead clinical policy development, quality initiatives, and provider onboarding while overseeing urgent care and occupational medicine services for acute illnesses and injuries.

The role emphasizes leadership, policy oversight, and collaboration with operations to meet service goals in a non profit regional health system near Toledo.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Urgent Care or Occupational Medicine is required or expected.
• MRO certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ohio medical license or eligibility is required or pending.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures and protocols.
• Provide oversight of quality initiatives and OPPE processes.
• Onboard and train new providers; partner with operational leaders to advance service line goals.
• Deliver urgent care and occupational medicine services, including work injuries, physicals, and return-to-work evaluations.

Urgent Care & Occ Medicine Medical Director

Clinical Urgent Care practice is the majority of the position providing urgent care services for acute illnesses and injuries. Deliver occupational medicine services, including work-related injury care, physicals, and return-to-work evaluations.

Requirements:

• BC/BE in Urgent Care OR Occupational Medicine
• MRO (medical review officer) certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
• OH medical license, or eligible
