Job summary

Independent Health System in Findlay, OH seeks an Occupational Medicine Physician - Medical Director. This hybrid clinical/leadership role features 80% clinical work and 20% administrative duties, including policy development and quality initiatives.

The clinical mix is 50% Urgent Care and 30% Occupational Health with emphasis on work-related injuries and return-to-work evaluations. Compensation includes a $300,000 base salary and a $100,000 signing bonus, plus relocation assistance, PTO/CME,

Qualifications

• MD/DO required for the role.
• Board certification in Urgent, Emergency, Family, Internal, or Occupational Medicine.
• MRO certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Medical Director duties: develop clinical policies and protocols and oversee quality initiatives and OPPE processes.
• Oversee APPs, train and onboard new providers, and partner with operational leaders on service line goals.
• Occupational medicine services include work-related injury care, occupational physicals, and return-to-work evaluations.
• Lead 80% clinical practice and 20% administrative leadership with a focus on safety and compliance.

Compensation

• Base salary: $300,000
• Signing bonus: $100,000, paid $50,000 in Year 1 and $50,000 in Year 2
