Medical Director - Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility - IVF Services

The Medical Director, IVF services is a strategic leader within the Medical Affairs team at Natera. In this role, you will provide medical expertise for Natera’s product portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams across research, development, commercial, and medical affairs. This role serves as a scientific ambassador, working to educate and develop relationships with clinicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals.

Position location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Represent Natera with clinicians, academic institutions, healthcare insurance providers, and professional organizations.
• Provide scientific and clinical presentations on Natera’s reproductive genetic products.
• Collaborate with Medical Science Liaison and Clinical Services teams on product quality and improvement.
• Serve as a medical/scientific resource for the IVF Sales and Marketing teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with medical colleagues and Key Opinion Leaders in the IVF community.
• Respond to customer requests for information about products.
• Oversee case-related issues and communicate escalations with genetic counselors and laboratory directors.
• Review and approve educational and marketing materials.
• Collaborate on clinical development of new diagnostics with senior leadership and R&D teams.
• Complete required HIPAA/PHI and security training within 30 days of hire.
• Maintain current training status and pass background checks.
• Travel up to 60% as required.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with Board certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
• Minimum 5 years of IVF experience, with clinical research background preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical genetics, practice guidelines, and genetic testing standards.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.

The salary range is $214,200—$267,800 USD, based on experience and other factors. This position is remote in the USA.
