Job summary

Premier Community HealthCare in Dade City, FL seeks a Medical Director, Psychiatry to lead psychiatric services for adults and children within our FQHC. You will mentor clinicians, collaborate with the CMO, and advance integrated care across the network.

You will guide quality initiatives, drive access to care, and shape best practices while promoting a compassionate, mission-driven culture. This leadership role offers meaningful impact in Pasco and Hernando Counties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Florida.
• Board eligible or board certified in psychiatry.
• Completed psychiatry residency.
• 10 years of clinical practice experience.
• Behavioral health leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care for adults and children.
• Lead, mentor, and support behavioral health providers.
• Partner with the CMO and clinical leaders.
• Strengthen integrated care, quality, and access.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 20 lbs. regularly and 30-50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Travel to PCHG sites and occasional conferences
• Direct exposure to computer screens
• May be exposed to contagious or infectious diseases
