Job summary

Primary Care Solutions is seeking a physician to provide direct clinical care to veterans and oversee care delivery within the clinic. You will diagnose and treat patients, coordinate with VA partners, and guide enrollment and follow-up visits.

The role emphasizes adherence to VA guidelines, chart reviews, and maintaining a collaborative clinic culture. Board-certified physicians with active license and CPRS familiarity are preferred; a supportive team and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required; board certification in family practice or internal medicine.
• Active state medical license and DEA in state of practice.
• 2 years of clinical primary care experience preferred.
• VA experience a plus (CPRS/VISTA GUI).
• Current Basic Life Support certification renewed annually.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical care of veterans: diagnosis and treatment.
• Oversee clinical care for veterans enrolled in the clinic.
• Serve as medical resource for care delivery.
• Drive outcomes through chart reviews, direct observation, and VA guidelines.
• Foster positive relationships with VA partners.
• Assist patient enrollment and retention through scheduling guidance.

What You'll Do

• Primarily a direct clinical care role, diagnosis, and treatment of veterans
• Oversee the clinical care given to veterans enrolled in the clinic
• Medical resource for care delivery
• Achieve and maintain excellent clinical outcomes through periodic chart reviews, direct observation, and by abiding by VA guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a positive, collaborative and working relationship with our VA partners
• Support patient enrollment and retention by providing guidance, when necessary, regarding scheduling, follow-up visits, or nurse visits.

Who We're Looking For

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine Degree (MD/DO)
• Board-certified in family practice or internal medicine
• 2 years of clinical medical practice in primary care preferred
• Active state license and DEA in state of practice
• Current certification in American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (to be renewed annually)
• Ability to provide clinical leadership
• Maintain a positive clinic culture by displaying an enthusiastic and encouraging demeanor
• Excellent computer skills; VA experience a plus - CPRS/VISTA GUI!
