Assumption University in Worcester, MA seeks a Part-time Professor of Practice for the PA Program and School of Health Professions. The role collaborates with the Program Director to advance curriculum, accreditation readiness, and program assessment while supporting student success.
The position emphasizes teaching in PA topics, faculty development, and engagement in accreditation activities, with additional duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Part-time 12-month Professor of Practice in the PA Program and School of Health Professions responsible for collaborating and consulting with the Program Director as an active participant in the program. The Medical Director will support the development and ongoing review of the program competencies to meet current practice standards as they relate to the PA role. The Medical Director will also consult and collaborate with the faculty regarding didactic and clinical curriculum and in the development and maintenance of clinical sites. The Medical Director will play an integral role in the Program’s accreditation preparation for the ARC-PA site visits.
