Job description

Allure Healthcare Service is seeking a Medical Director to join our team in the Bureau County area.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

1. The physician serves as medical director for skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and participates in administrative and quality initiatives for the facilities;
2. Medical directorship functions include attending and participating in monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings; providing guidance to facility staff; reviewing and revising clinical guidelines; ensuring compliance with regulations; training staff; and supervising clinical staff;
3. The physician also serves as the attending physician for residents at each facility;
4. Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage resident care;
5. Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions;
6. Utilize electronic health records systems such as PointClickCare;
7. Participate in quality initiatives like Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care, RPM, etc.;
8. Supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physician assistants;
9. Utilize electronic/online medical tools for administrative functions.

Shift Structure
