Allure Healthcare Service is seeking a Medical Director to join our team in the Bureau County area.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- The physician serves as medical director for skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and participates in administrative and quality initiatives for the facilities;
- Medical directorship functions include attending and participating in monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings; providing guidance to facility staff; reviewing and revising clinical guidelines; ensuring compliance with regulations; training staff; and supervising clinical staff;
- The physician also serves as the attending physician for residents at each facility;
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage resident care;
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions;
- Utilize electronic health records systems such as PointClickCare;
- Participate in quality initiatives like Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care, RPM, etc.;
- Supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physician assistants;
- Utilize electronic/online medical tools for administrative functions.

Shift Structure
- Shifts are flexible depending on schedules;
- Typically, directors work 2-3 days/week at each facility;
- Rounding times are flexible, generally starting between 7-10 a.m., ending when caseload is complete;
- This position requires in-person presence.
