Penn Medicine is excited to be seeking a Full-Time Medical Director of Peri-Procedural Services to join our team at Chester County Hospital (CCH) located in West Chester, PA, about 45 minutes west of Philadelphia. The Medical Director will provide operational leadership of Peri-Procedural services (Anesthesia, pre- procedure, operative, post–procedure, PAT) in a dyad partnership with the Nursing Director of Perioperative Services for clinical and administrative support in the designated areas/departments.

Primary areas of responsibility will include:

  • Anesthesia Practice Management
  • Business planning processes
  • Patient care processes
  • Clinical effectiveness and quality
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Change management
  • Financial management

Qualifications:
A successful candidate will be a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist with proven leadership ability and the following qualities:

  • A minimum of two years of management experience is required
  • Administrative experience in an OR setting and of an Anesthesia physician group (hospital OR or ASC) is preferred
  • Outstanding management skills
  • Strong communication skills that enable them to appreciate other perspectives
  • The ability to collaborate across Penn Medicine
