Job summary

South Bend Medical Foundation (SBMF) seeks an experienced AP/CP Board-Certified Pathologist to serve as Medical Director for the Kalamazoo, Michigan practice. This leadership role influences operations, quality initiatives, and service delivery within a growing pathology organization.

The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in AP/CP with leadership experience. Michigan and Indiana licensure ability is required, and fellowship training is welcomed to enhance clinical impact.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in AP/CP
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• Fellowship training welcomed
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to obtain unrestricted medical licensure in Michigan and Indiana

Responsibilities

• Medical Director responsibilities with significant influence on operations, quality initiatives, and service delivery
• Partnership with executive leadership to support continued organizational growth
• Affiliation with one of the Midwest's leading hospital systems
• Approximately 14,400 surgical pathology cases annually at the Kalamazoo site
• Diverse and clinically engaging case volume
• No autopsy responsibilities
