Position Overview

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise in pulmonary vascular medicine is required. Candidates should have experience and/or advanced training in cardiology and pulmonary vascular disease, and hold an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree. Board certification in Cardiovascular Medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities
  1. Teaching: Serving as Pulmonary Hypertension Fellowship Director, mentoring cardiology and pulmonary fellows, medical students, and residents.
  2. Clinical: Providing inpatient and outpatient care for patients with pulmonary vascular disease and associated heart failure, performing right heart catheterizations, and conducting cardiac imaging.
  3. Research: Leading or collaborating on NIH-sponsored and industry-sponsored clinical research. Scholarship is a requirement in the clinician educator track.
