Cytokinetics is seeking a clinical development leader to guide strategy, protocol design, data interpretation and safety monitoring across Phase I–III. The role includes health authority interactions and collaboration with medical affairs and commercial teams on launch planning and lifecycle management.

Ideal candidate has an MD or MD/PhD with internal medicine or neurology board certification, 2+ years in clinical development, and proven leadership for multi-site trials; travel ~20%.

Qualificações

• MD or MD/PhD with ABIM certification in Internal Medicine or Neurology.
• Minimum 2+ years in clinical development in biotech/pharma or as a clinical investigator (multi-center trials).
• Experience with heart failure studies is a strong plus.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of CDER regulations and ICH guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as clinical lead for cross-functional clinical development teams.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive clinical development plans with multiple departments.
• Design protocols and conduct medical monitoring of trials; author protocols and investigator brochures.
• Provide strategic medical input for IND submissions, NDA submissions, and regulatory interactions.
• Present plans and results to senior leaders; represent the company at external meetings.
