Job summary

Elevance Health seeks an Account Management Medical Director RVP to partner with National Account’s Sales and Account Management teams, providing clinical leadership to improve healthcare quality, outcomes, and cost for Commercial and National customers in regions.

The role drives expansion of clinical products and programs for large National Accounts, supporting new sales and strategic initiatives with a focus on external engagement and policy influence.

Qualifications

• MD with 10+ years of progressive industry experience or equivalent background.
• Current unrestricted medical license in applicable state(s) required; board certification required.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates relationships with decision-makers within prospective customers.
• Acts as clinical thought leader and partners with Sales RVPs and Account Managers for new sales.
• Supports account finalist opportunities and client quarterly/annual reviews.
• Ensures high-quality medical services for accounts.
• Advises clients on clinical programs and strategy.
• Represents company on external committees or with vendors as needed.
• Fosters continuous improvement and sharing of best practices.
