Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from AVMA-accredited institution or equivalent for international grads.
• Active Texas veterinary license in good standing or ability to obtain before start date.
• Successful NAVLE completion.
• Minimum 3 years of current clinical veterinary experience.
• Strong surgical and dental skills in small animal practice.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Positive, team-oriented leadership and veterinary medicine approach.
• Willingness to mentor technicians and support staff; commitment to teaching and lifelong learning.
• Interest in building lasting client/community relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality small animal veterinary care, including preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry.
• Lead and support the veterinary team; foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture.
• Mentor associate veterinarians and support staff; encourage ongoing education and growth.
• Build strong client relationships through excellent communication and thoughtful recommendations.
• Partner with hospital leadership to ensure clinical quality and long-term success.
• Identify opportunities to enhance services, improve workflows, and grow the practice.
• Promote Fear Free handling and maintain accurate medical records.
