Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks an experienced transplant nephrologist to serve as Medical Director of the Kidney Transplant Program at the Cedar Crest campus in Allentown, PA. The ideal candidate will provide clinical leadership, program growth, and ensure high standards of patient care across the transplant continuum.

Qualifications

• Board-certified transplant nephrologist
• Experience in leading a transplant program is preferred
• Understanding UNOS CMS and regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities

• Oversee transplant program operations and clinical care across waitlist, donor evaluation, and post-transplant management
• Lead multidisciplinary team including physicians and advanced practice providers
• Drive quality, safety, and program growth initiatives
• Collaborate with surgical director on finances, budgets and planning
• Develop and implement clinical management guidelines and protocols
