WMC Advanced Physician Services PC is seeking a Medical Director for the Kidney Pancreas Transplant program in Valhalla, NY. The role provides strategic, clinical and operational leadership to advance patient-centered transplant care.

Responsibilities include leading clinical governance, expanding access to transplantation, ensuring CMS/OPTN compliance, and guiding recruitment, education and program growth in collaboration with surgical and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in internal medicine and nephrology.
• Fellowship training in transplant nephrology.
• Eligibility for or possession of an unrestricted New York State medical license.
• Experience in kidney transplantation including evaluation, listing and post-transplant management.
• Leadership experience in a multidisciplinary transplant program.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight of the kidney transplant program and ensure adherence to protocols and standards.
• Oversee evaluation, listing and management of transplant candidates.
• Lead quality, regulatory compliance and performance improvement activities.
• Develop strategic vision and grow the program, including pancreas transplant expansion.
• Recruit, mentor and develop transplant physicians and APPs; represent the program at professional meetings.
