Job summary

Essen Healthcare is looking for an experienced Medical Director to lead the Intention Provider team in delivering home-based primary care across Massachusetts. The role ensures high-quality services by overseeing clinical performance, providing mentorship, and fostering continuous improvement. Ideal candidates should have an MD or DO degree, board certification, and 5-7 years of clinical experience. Compensation ranges from $250K to $350K, including performance incentives, with share purchase opportunities for tenured providers.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic degree from an accredited US medical school.
• Successful completion of residency in internal or family medicine.
• Current Massachusetts license and prescriptive authority.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience, preferably in home-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and support to Intention providers.
• Conduct periodic ride-alongs, case audits and chart reviews.
• Oversee provider performance metrics and lead quality improvement initiatives.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated care delivery.
