Job summary

Cleveland Clinic's Hematology and Oncology Department in Cleveland, OH seeks Internal Medicine physicians to manage inpatients with hematologic malignancies at our main campus hospital.

The successful candidate will lead inpatient care for lymphoma and multiple myeloma, supervise APs, collaborate with consultants, and hold or obtain Ohio medical licensure with board eligibility in IM and/or Hem/Medical Oncology.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Hematology/Medical Oncology.
• Ohio medical licensure or eligibility.
• Appointment in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day inpatient clinical care of patients with hematologic malignancies.
• Supervise a dedicated team of advanced practice providers.
• Collaborate closely with consulting services and other hematology/oncology teams.
• Care for patients with lymphoma and multiple myeloma during daytime hours; contribute to program leadership.

Job description

The Hematology and Oncology Department of Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute is seeking Internal Medicine physician applicants to deliver high-quality care to inpatients with hematologic malignancies at our main campus hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

The successful candidate will lead the inpatient management of admitted patients with lymphoma and multiple myeloma during daytime hours and will be committed to providing skilled and compassionate care. Responsibilities include day-to-day clinical care of patients and supervision of dedicated team of advanced practice providers, as well as close collaboration with consultants. The successful candidate will have an appointment in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology and should be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Hematology/Medical Oncology and hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
